I just got back from snagging an awesome deal! Old Navy is having a secret cami sale..so secret that it is not advertised in store OR in an ad. So weird, but hey for $2 camis that's okay lol!

Cheap milk!!

CVS has a deal right now on milk!

TG Lee Milk
Reg. 3.19
Use $1/1 MFR CPN HERE
Total: $2.19 AND you get $1 in ECB (extra care bucks) good for a future purchase! Unlike Walgreens, they don't have to be separate transactions AND ECB are treated like cash (though you don't get change back if your purchase is less than the coupon value) vs a MFR CPN!

Limit of 2 deals!

Went to Walgreens...

First when you walk in your Walgreens you will see the weekly ad display. There should also be a monthly Walgreens coupon booklet there. Grab this so you can use the coupons inside (they exp. 7/31)!

Transaction 1-4:

**Now the reason we have to do these separate is that if you buy two (or more) DIFFERENT register rewards items (say pizza and a razor) in one transaction, one reward each will print for each DIFFERENT RR item. However, if you buy two of the SAME item deal, only one RR will print for that item. Also always use MFR CPN first!**

Digiorno Pizza
Sale 2/$10 or $5 each
Use $2/1 CPN HERE
Total: $3 each plus get $1 RR

Now 4 transactions and 8 pizzas later (we eat some pizza here with the kids out of school) you have $4RR dollars (4/$1 RR).

Total spent: $24 for 8 pizzas!

Transaction 5:
Reach Toothbrushes also have a RR deal if you don't want to mess with the pizzas.
Buy 2 = $1 RR, Buy 3 = $2 RR, Buy 4 = $4 RR

4 Reach Crystal Clean Toothbrushes
Reg. $1.59 each
Use 2 $2/2 MFR CPN (from last month) OR $1/1 CPN HERE
Total: $2.36 (or .59 each) AND get $4 RR back!

1 Colgate Total Toothpaste $3.49
Use $.75/1 MFR CPN HERE
Total: 2.74 AND get $3.50 RR

Total spent: $5.10 for 4 toothbrushes and 1 toothpaste!

Now I have $11.50RR dollars to spend on my NEXT transaction (4/$1 RR, 1/$3.50 RR, 1/$4 RR)!

Transaction 6:

TWO Ziploc Bags
Sale $2.50 each
Use $1/2 CPN from July Walgreens Coupon Booklet
Use $1/2 MFR CPN HERE
Final Price: $1.50 each **I got four of these**

Pilot G2 Gel Pens 2pk
Sale $1.19
Use $1/1 MFR CPN HERE AND $1/1 Walgreens CPN from July Walgreens Coupon Booklet
Total: Free! **I did this deal twice!**

Expo Washable Markers 6ct
Reg $5.99
Use $1/1 MFR CPN HERE AND $3/1 Walgreens CPN from July Walgreens Coupon Booklet
Total $1.99 each!

1 Colgate Total Toothpaste $3.49
Use $.75/1 MFR CPN HERE
Total: 2.74 AND get $3.50 RR back

Now since you already used MFR coupons on these items we need some items to toss in there so we can use our RR dollars (remember they are like MFR CPNs so you can only use one per item!) Here are some filler items so you can use your RR to pay (and good deals lol):

9¢ Items (limit 12)
Penway Highlighter

19¢ Items
Paper Mate 1.2 Prism Pens 10pk

29¢ Items
Corner Office Sheet Protectors 10pk

39¢ Items
Corner Office 5 Tab Dividers
Penway Poly or 3 Ring Binder

49¢ Items
Splash Poly Portfolio
School box
5pk Bic Brite Liner Highlighters

Now, depending on what you bought to use as a filler your total will vary after using RR to pay. I bought:

4 Ziploc bags
2 Bic G2 pens
1 Cogate Toothpaste
1 Expo Washable Markers
2 BIC Brite Liner Highlighters
1 Penway Highlighters

I bought enough to use my RR BUT so that I wouldn't have overage which Walgreens normally won't let you have lol!

Total: 11.80
Use my 11.50 in RR dollars and pay $.30 OUT OF POCKET! Not a bad deal!

So from start to finish I got:

8 DiGiorno Pizzas
4 Reach Toothbrushes
2 Colgate Toothpastes
4 Ziploc bags
2 Bic G2 pens
1 Expo Washable Markers
2 BIC Brite Liner Highlighters
1 Penway Highlighters

Total Spent OOP: $29.40 for 24 items AND I still have $3.50 in RR from the second toothpaste! A pic of SOME of my haul (most was already put away...almost forgot to take a pic at all lol):

Amazing deal on BIC Soleil Razors!!

I just found out about this the other day and HAD to try it out! Publix has BIC razors BOGO Free this week (sale ends Wed night!!). At 5.49 each, getting TWO packs for only 5.49 is a good enough deal BUT to take it one step further there is a $3/1 MFR CPN from the paper a few weeks ago that turns this into a super sweet deal!! How sweet..we're talking FREE sweet lol! Here is how it works:

Buy 2 packs of BIC Soleil disposable razors
Reg 5.49
Sale BOGO Free or 5.49 for BOTH packs
Use TWO $3/1 MFR CPN that exp. 8/22/10 (can buy these on ebay for cheap!)
Total: Both FREE or possible overage if your store allows it!

I had forty of these coupons (yes it is a little extreme but there ARE worse couponers out there lol). I went to three different Publix's and got 8 razors at one store (got back .78 in overage!) and got 12 razors at the second store and spend .82 cents (had to pick up two packs of ink pens since this store did NOT allow overage!). Sadly the third store was out of razors BUT they gave me a raincheck for eight packs. I plan to try one of the other Publix's in town tomorrow to see if there are any more razors left so I can finish off my coupons! Here is my haul from today (my girls think it looks like a peacock lol):

FREE MOVIE TICKETS!

I was looking at the Walgreens ad today and was amazed at some of the deals you can get there this week! My favorite is the FREE Movie Tickets!! HERE is the ad.

First to take FULL advantage of the deals and have everything work right you have to do several transactions. I had no problem doing this, I went when they first opened so there was NO line and the cashiers were super nice at my store! But you can always hit up more than one store or just walk out and come back in if your cashier gives you a hard time lol. Here is what I got today:

Deal 1:

Kellogg's Rice Krispie Treats (they also have some cookies this works with if you don't like these...just make sure they have the movie tokens on the package)
Sale 2/$5

Plus you get $2 in Register Reward Dollars back for every two you purchase (this is per transaction though which is why you need to do several). Now RR dollars are just like manufacturer's coupons..the difference is that you can use them on pretty much anything in the store instead of a certain item..BUT you can only use one per item. HERE is more information!

Now, I bought ten boxes of these and did FIVE SEPARATE transactions..and we got 10 RR dollars back. Plus I needed the codes off the boxes to send in for two more movie tickets. HERE is the info on the movie ticket deal.

Now, your total may vary depending on how many you purchase lol! Mine was 25.00. It may seem like a lot BUT I got 10 boxes of Treats, $10 RR dollars, AND enough movie tokens to get TWO movie tickets (5 tokens for each ticket).

On to Deal 2..and MORE Free Movie Tickets!:

U by Kotex Tampons/Pads
Sale 3/$10
Use THREE of the $2 RR
Total Spent: 4.00

AND when you purchase three..you get a FREE movie ticket! The movie ticket prints as a coupon with a code on it. You go online (website is on the ticket), enter in the code and print your ticket! The tickets are good for ANY movie, they MUST be printed by 8/31/10, BUT they are good to use until 12/31/10. There is NO catch, I printed mine this morning then Phil and I went to see Predators at the theater! BTW, Predators was AWESOME!

Deal 3 (I wanted another FREE movie ticket lol):

U by Kotex Tampons/Pads
Sale 3/$10
Use the last TWO $2 RR dollars from the Rice Krispie Treats
Use 1/1 MFR CPN HERE
Total Spent: 5.00

Deal 4 (optional but something I needed):
Soleil Razors 4pk
Sale 4.99
Use $3/1 MFR CPN in today's newspaper
Total Spent: 1.99

Now, to recap I got:

10 Boxes of Rice Krispie Treats (will go fast here lol)
6 Boxes of U by Kotex Tampons/Pads
1 Soleil Razors 4pk
4 FREE Movie Tickets (2 from the Kotex deal and 2 with the Treat Tokens).

Total Out of Pocket Spent: 35.99!! That is for 21 items!

Want another FREE and FUN activity for the kids?

If your kids are anything like mine you are about to pull your hair out trying to come up with ways to entertain them that won't dent your wallet. Well here is an idea!

Toys R Us is having a "Thomas and Friends Play Date"
Saturday July 10th, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Make sure you call and confirm your local times!

How Pioneers Lived?! Talk about FREE!

My two oldest girls are at their "G" Pa's this weekend doing what he called "A Pioneer's Life". He said he was going to teach them what life was back in the day of the Pioneers. Now I didn't know what to expect when I dropped them off but it actually looked fun...and pretty much FREE lol. Here are some of the things he set up in his backyard that they will be doing:

1. "Tilling the Fields"..or working in his garden. He plan to teach them how people got food from seeds and hard work lol.

2. Going to the "local swimming hole"..this is actually the neighbors pool...heck you have to be rewarded for all that tilling.

3. There was a "spring" where they would get their water to use in the garden and wash up for dinner...I think this was a hose and a bucket but he made it look like a waterfall.

4. There was an "outhouse" where he dug a hole, made a seat, surrounded it with sheets and stocked it with some newspapers. My 12 year old daughter looked horrified...until he explained they were using the bathroom inside, but he wanted her to see what they HAD to use back then lol.

5. Cooking over an open fire...he set up a fire pit outside so that they could cook hot dogs, beans, roast some marshmallows..you know "Pioneer Food".

6. There was also a "Magic Brown Chicken"..now this may look like an ordinary piece of cardboard shaped like a chicken and nailed to the bottom of a tree..but in the morning there will be eggs in its nest so they can make breakfast!

There were a lot more activities planned. I think they will have fun "roughing it" for the next couple days and I can't wait to hear on Sunday how they made out. Anyone else have a "unique" activity they do with their kids?

Need school supplies including clothes? Get them tax free!

I was just at Wal-Mart and noticed they are already stocking the shelves full of Back To School (BTS) gear which made me think...will they have Tax Free Days this year?

As many of you Floridians already know, last year FL dropped the ball and forgot to give us our Tax Free Days..and I was VERY disappointed. Well I did a little research at the Dept of Rev site and guess what?! We WILL have one this year on August 13-15, the bad news is that it looks like clothing purchases have to be $50 or less and school supplies have to be $10 and under. Not a big deal, just make multiple purchases and keep those totals UNDER the $50 cutoff lol. HERE is the info!

For those of you NOT in FL, I dug a little further and found THIS list of states participating and more information on tax holidays. Not all states participate so check to see if yours is listed!

*By the way, thank goodness for search features because I do NOT want to try navigating a government site without it lol.

Also here are a couple of coupons you may want to print out:

Target has three new coupons available (zip 34482 if they don't show on your zip code). You can sort by School Supplies to find them quicker! My favorite part about Target coupons are that they can be stacked with manufacturer coupons to save even more! And don't forget MOST coupons can be printed twice!

$1.00/2 Multipack Sharpie Accent pens Target CPN HERE
$1.00/2 Sharpie Retractable Highligher MFR CPN HERE

$1.00/2 BIC stationery items Target CPN HERE

$1.00/1 Expo washable dry erase markers, 6 ct Target CPN HERE
$1.00/1 Expo Washable Markers MFR CPN HERE

**None of these expire before Sept so you can save them to use when all the deals start showing up!**

As I run across them I will post more school supply deals!

Need something to do with the kiddos?

It's time for Lowe's to do their Build and Grow workshop again! HERE is the info. This Saturday they are making a wooden ball and cup game! Remember these from when we were kids? Unfortunately, we have to miss this one since the girls are staying with their grandpa that day.

The next workshop won't be until 7/24 where they will be making this really cool wooden UFO with real blinking light! Definitely not to be missed!

Also try heading over to Home Depot to try out their kids workshops! I haven't taken the girls to one yet, but plan to! The next one is on 8/7 where they will be building a School Bus Pencil Organizer! Super cute and right in time for Back-To-School! HERE is the info!

Yea for Remy's Birthday!

My oldest daughter Remy turns 12 on July 4th. Because it is a holiday and my husband gets extra pay for working holidays we are celebrating her birthday this Friday on his day off. This way we don't have to rush our plans for the day just so he can get to work lol!

First, as I previously told ya'll, we do dinner and a movie for Birthdays versus the traditional party and presents. Because it can get pricey with five of us..okay Peanut is free lol..I like to hunt for discounts and coupons. This year I got 2 FREE movie tickets from Pop Tarts rebate, a $5 voucher for the concession stand from a Kellogg's cereal rebate to help pay for that popcorn, and today in my email I got my $5 off coupon for Red Lobster which is Remy's dinner choice EVERY year lol! I can't believe I haven't mentioned this discount before!

Red Lobster is expensive and I can't STAND paying so much (of course my child gets the Ultimate Feast lol) but since we only go once a year for Remy's Birthday I try to save as much as possible on the bill. That is why I joined the Red Lobster Fresh Catch Club! You get alerts on Red Lobster events, specials AND a Birthday Surprise in your email! The Surprise is $5/2 entrees..which while it isn't a ton of money saved EVERY little bit counts!

HERE is the info!

Now Remy's movie choice is Twilight Eclipse..no surprise there lol..and since it is already selling out at our theatre, I already turned in my vouchers and got our tickets! We are going to the 1240pm showing so we paid matinee prices (8.00/adult and 7.25/child). Using my two Pop Tart
vouchers I saved 16.00! I had another movie voucher from the Hershey's rebate I told ya'll about a while ago, but I had to use it the day of the movie and since I didn't want to chance a sell out I plan on saving that ticket for later! I paid 14.50 out of pocket for the girls..luckily child prices go up to age 11 and since Remy won't be 12 until Sunday we just made it! I was also able to swipe my Regal Cinema Crown Club card!

Info HERE!

You can earn rewards for going to the movies! Free movies, popcorn, drinks, and more! All for FREE since the card costs nothing! Besides my points from the tickets I purchased I also got 5 BONUS points for seeing Eclipse!

(check my prior posts for details on the movie rebates mentioned in this post)

Since I told ya'll I would let you know when I ran across them HERE is another great idea for ways to spend time with the kiddos during the summer without breaking the bank! FREE movies at Regal Cinemas on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10am!

See ya'll at the movies!!
